KFC Big 6 Deal – Win R1,000 Shoprite/Checkers Grocery Voucher Competition

1. Promoter

1.1 The promoter of this competition is Gunret Foods (Pty) Ltd ("the Promoter"), an authorised KFC franchise operator in South Africa.

1.2 This promotion is administered by Dotsquare Media Agency (Pty) Ltd on behalf of the Promoter.

1.3 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Shoprite Holdings Limited, Checkers, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Jotform or any other third-party platform used in connection with the competition.

2. Competition Period

2.1 The competition commences on 29 June 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 23 August 2026.

2.2 No late, incomplete or delayed entries will be accepted.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The competition is open to all South African residents aged 18 years or older.

3.2 Participants must possess a valid South African cellphone number.

3.3 Participants must be able to provide proof of purchase upon request.

3.4 Directors, members, franchise owners, employees, managers, staff members, agencies, suppliers, consultants and immediate family members associated with Gunret Foods (Pty) Ltd, KFC South Africa, Dotsquare Media Agency or the administration of this competition may not enter.

4. How To Enter

To enter, participants must:

4.1 Purchase a qualifying KFC Big 6 Deal Meal from a participating store during the promotional period.

4.2 Scan the official competition QR code displayed in-store or access the official competition entry page.

4.3 Complete the online entry form in full.

4.4 Upload a clear photograph of the original till slip showing:

• Participating store name;
• Date of purchase; and
• Purchase of a qualifying Big 6 Deal Meal.

4.5 Accept these Terms and Conditions.

4.6 Only valid entries submitted through the official competition platform will qualify.

5. Entry Requirements

5.1 Participants may enter multiple times provided each entry is supported by a separate qualifying purchase.

5.2 The same till slip may not be used more than once.

5.3 Illegible, incomplete, fraudulent, altered, duplicated, misleading or suspicious entries may be disqualified.

5.4 The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries before awarding prizes.

5.5 The Promoter may reject any entry that does not satisfy the competition requirements.

6. Prizes

6.1 Three (3) winners per participating store will be selected each week during the promotional period.

6.2 Each winner will receive a Shoprite/Checkers Grocery Voucher valued at R1,000 (One Thousand Rand).

6.3 Prizes will be fulfilled electronically through the Shoprite Financial Services Money Market Account platform.

6.4 The total number of prizes awarded will depend on the number of participating stores and weekly draws conducted during the campaign period.

6.5 Prizes are not transferable, refundable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

6.6 Winners may access their vouchers via:

• Shoprite App;
• Shoprite Money Market Account USSD Service (*120*3534#);
• Shoprite Money Market Account WhatsApp Service; or
• Participating Shoprite Group stores offering Money Market Account assistance.

6.7 Access to a smartphone is not required in order to redeem a prize.

6.8 Winners are responsible for complying with any registration, verification or activation requirements imposed by Shoprite Financial Services.

7. Winner Selection

7.1 Weekly draws will be conducted electronically from all verified qualifying entries received during the applicable draw period.

7.2 Entries will be grouped according to the participating store selected on the entry form and reflected on the uploaded till slip.

7.3 Three (3) winners per participating store will be selected using a random electronic draw process administered by Dotsquare Media Agency (Pty) Ltd.

7.4 All qualifying entries received before the applicable weekly draw cut-off date will be eligible for that week's draw.

7.5 Winners may be published on the Promoter's websites, social media platforms and other communication channels.

7.6 The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries before confirming winners.

7.7 The Promoter's decision regarding eligibility, verification and winner selection shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Winner Notification

8.1 Winners will be contacted using the cellphone number supplied during entry.

8.2 Winners may be contacted via SMS, telephone call, WhatsApp or email where applicable.

8.3 Voucher fulfilment instructions will be sent to the cellphone number supplied by the winner.

8.4 The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact winners.

8.5 Should a winner:

• Provide incorrect information;
• Be unreachable after reasonable contact attempts;
• Fail verification requirements;
• Fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions; or
• Be disqualified for any reason,

the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

8.6 The Promoter shall not be responsible for failed SMS delivery, network interruptions, inactive cellphone numbers, handset issues, blocked messaging services, lost devices or any circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

8.7 The Promoter shall not be liable where a winner fails to receive, access, activate or redeem a prize due to incorrect information supplied by the entrant.

9. Verification, Activation and Redemption

9.1 Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and proof of purchase before a prize is awarded.

9.2 The Promoter reserves the right to request the original till slip and any supporting documentation reasonably required to validate an entry.

9.3 Failure to provide satisfactory verification documentation may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternative winner.

9.4 Prize vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of Shoprite Financial Services and the Money Market Account platform.

9.5 Winners may be required to register and activate a Shoprite Money Market Account in order to access and redeem their prize.

9.6 Winners are solely responsible for completing any registration, verification, activation and account setup requirements required by Shoprite Financial Services.

9.7 Winners are encouraged to activate their vouchers as soon as reasonably possible after receiving notification of their prize.

9.8 For purposes of this promotion, winners must activate and claim their prize through the Shoprite Money Market Account platform on or before 31 December 2026.

9.9 Any promotional voucher that has not been activated, claimed, loaded to an active Money Market Account, or otherwise made available to the winner by 31 December 2026 due to the winner's failure to complete the required activation process may be deemed forfeited.

9.10 The Promoter shall not be responsible for any loss arising from a winner's failure to register, activate, access or utilise the Shoprite Money Market Account platform within the prescribed period.

9.11 Subject to the applicable agreement between the Promoter and Shoprite Financial Services, any forfeited, unclaimed, inactive, dormant or unused promotional voucher value may be reversed, reclaimed, reallocated, repurposed or returned to the Promoter's promotional voucher allocation ledger after 31 December 2026.

9.12 No compensation, replacement prize or cash alternative shall be payable in respect of any forfeited, expired or unclaimed promotional voucher.

10. Publicity

10.1 By accepting a prize, winners consent to the Promoter using their first name, surname initial, town, participating store name and/or photograph for promotional purposes relating to this competition without additional compensation.

10.2 Winners may be announced on the Promoter's websites, social media platforms and marketing materials.

11. Data Protection

11.1 Personal information collected during the competition will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("POPIA").

11.2 Information will only be used for purposes related to administration of this competition and prize fulfilment.

11.3 Personal information will not be sold or shared with unrelated third parties.

11.4 Participants acknowledge and consent that, for purposes of prize fulfilment, their personal information, including their name and cellphone number, may be shared with Shoprite Financial Services and authorised service providers involved in administering the competition.

11.5 Personal information will be retained only for as long as necessary to administer the promotion and comply with applicable legal obligations.

12. General

12.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition at any time should circumstances arise beyond its reasonable control.

12.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be acting fraudulently or contrary to these Terms and Conditions.

12.3 Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

12.4 The Promoter shall not be liable for any technical failure, system outage, network interruption, data loss, website downtime or other event that may affect participation in the competition.

12.5 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability arising from participation in the competition and acceptance or use of any prize.

12.6 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
